One Tribe. One Mission.
Mavens set out on a retreat to self and team discovery earlier this month in Gatlinburg, TN - what a beautiful mountain town, with the goal to learn more about each other and how we could best serve not only our own roles, but also our team and customers.
We learned about each other's goals, aspirations, setbacks and dreams. What drives the success of each of us individually, as a department and as a whole. We ate together, learned together, grew together. To say it was eye-opening would be an understatement. While words are not normally few or far between for most of our team, I think I can speak for us all when I use words like impactful, humbling, proud, encouraged and inspired to describe this experience.
People often look at roofing companies as a group of tradesmen with one purpose, to build roofs. But for us, we have truly become a family that seeks to help others, we also happen to build roofs. We, at Maven, have a strong sense of team, one team = one tribe: not one for all, but all for one - One fight, one mission.
It’s safe to say that every Maven was changed in someway after this experience, our goals outlined with action plans to follow through, team goals bigger than ourselves, Maven’s goals bigger than one department. We look forward to 2022 with a common mission. To make mavens and impact communities. We look forward to serving the communities that have served us so well.
